The Eight Types of Fall Sweaters Every Girl Needs

With the fall season quickly approaching in Nashville, I’ve come to the realization that I don’t have any sweaters in my closet. Unfortunately, instead of hanging neatly and color-coordinated in my apartment, they’re lying in my closet at home. It will be weeks before I return home to get them though, so I’m currently stuck wearing tank tops and other warm weather clothing… Needless to say, I’m pretty chilly.

That’s why I’ve scoured the Internet for a couple of sweaters that will tide me over. As I’ve shopped online, I’ve picked out some of the cutest, most comfortable sweaters that I think every fashionistas should own. (Well I suppose one should not own all eight, but hopefully she can own at least a couple!)

As you can see from my picks above, I’m really into patterned sweaters, whether the pattern is stripes or checkers. I’m also really into sweaters that you can pull over your head, as I find them the most warm and cuddly.

Without a doubt my favorite sweater that I’ve featured is the fuzzy grey one with leopard shoulders. I think it’s one of the most unique sweaters I’ve seen, and I like the fact that it uses a leopard pattern, which is a really popular trend right now. The surprising contrast between the grey and leopard is also fantastic.

The other sweater I want to highlight is the holey one from Romwe.com, which appears in the top left corner. It has a laid back beach-y vibe, making it the perfect summer to fall transition sweater. I think It would look great with a lighter tank underneath, like white.

So which sweater is your favorite? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Xoxo,

Jessica

Hey Jessica – Great article, I love sweaters too! And any fall clothes, really. Just thought I’d share with you a great place to buy fall clothes – cute and affordable! I bought two cardigans yesterday which your article reminded me of so I figured I’d share! http://www.facebook.com/endlessgraceboutique They don’t sell shoes (bummer) but they have adorable clothes, jewelry and accessories. 🙂
